Gingerline Classic

With a riotous fusion of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Rosie the Riveter, our unsuspecting guests were led via a decompression chamber into our naval submarine HMS Gingerline. The Mess Hall menu was rustic and plentiful, served in individual tin cans opened to reveal their hidden treasures! Captivating ‘porthole’ film installations by Emma Oxley created an unforgettable submersion as well as an enchanting deep-sea dive ‘n’ dine experience.


Aperitif

Bashed crab claw with garlic and lemon mayonnaise or [v] broad bean and manchego crostini

Starter

Roasted jerusalem artichoke soup with crème fraiche spinach and wild garlic pesto croutons

Main

Catch-of-the-day pie with prawns, pollack and smoked haddock or [v] broccoli, creamy leek and gorgonzola pie served with grilled lemon fennel and a crunchy pea salad

Dessert

Homemade stem-ginger ice-cream wrapped in a light sponge with rhubarb jam
